Both towns are planning road improvement projects to calm traffic and make walking and biking safer. The proposed measures will reduce speeds, crashes, and injuries for all road users, including drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. The plans follow national best practice, but some have expressed concern about removal of parking and misinformed safety fears.
